I live in zone 2-3. I am looking for an annual vine that will do well in morning sun and aftersoon shade. I want it to climb a trellis.

Hi, have you ever heard of a cinnamon vine? It will die down in the fall/winter but will reseed itself in the spring. Once you get a start they will come up faithfully. When they bloom in the summer, like in the morning, you can go by them and catch a whiff of sweet cinnamon. My grandmother had these for many, many years. We are in WVa and it gets very cold,w/lots of snow, so these are very hardy. If you would like a few seeds send me your address and I will put them in an envelope. My e-mail is agram151@charter.net.

Hello Ann,
I hope you still have plenty of the cinnamon vine seeds - I would absolutely LOVE to have some! I live in Kentucky, so I know they would do well here if they do so well in West Virginia! I will send you a SASE so you will not have to pay postage if you will give me your address. Thank you! Jane jane6878@yahoo.com |
